Federal Skilled Worker Program
Your Direct Path to Canada
Immigrate to Canada based on your talent—no Canadian work experience required. The FSW program is Canada's flagship route for skilled professionals worldwide.
The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is Canada's flagship immigration route for professionals overseas. Unlike other pathways that require you to have already worked or studied in Canada, this program selects you based on your ability to succeed in the Canadian economy from day one. It is the primary way for skilled professionals from around the world to secure Permanent Residence (PR) directly.
Why Professional Guidance Matters
The Federal Skilled Worker Program has two distinct "point systems" that often confuse applicants: the 67-point eligibility grid and the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Mistaking one for the other is a common error that leads to rejected profiles.
Furthermore, with the rise of Category-Based Selection (e.g., draws specifically for STEM, Healthcare, or French speakers), the strategy for getting invited has changed. We help you navigate these dual requirements, ensuring you don't just "qualify" on paper, but actually receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA). Book a consultation to learn more .
What is the Federal Skilled Worker Program?
One of three pillars of Express Entry, designed for skilled workers with foreign work experience.
This program is one of the three pillars of the Express Entry system. It is designed for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently.
If you meet the minimum entry criteria (scoring 67/100 on the selection factors), you are placed into the Express Entry pool. There, you are ranked against other candidates. The highest-ranking candidates—or those with in-demand skills—are invited to apply for Permanent Residence.
